Dubai Airports uses Arrive InfoPoint Room Scheduling solution to simplify meeting room bookings

Overview

Dubai Airports serve more than 66 million people a year, with a 15% annual average growth rate. Projected to approach 100 million by the end of the decade, Dubai Airports’ growth rate makes it a dynamic and fast-growing airport operation facility that truly connects the world.

Its world-class facilities are operated by professionals with top talent and experience who require leading edge technology that supports aviation service and solution deliveries. The operations and management facilities have been expanded in 2015 to include collaborative meeting rooms installed with Arrive InfoPoint Room Scheduling solution to simplify meeting room use, and avoid scheduling hassles.

Challenge

Dubai Airports’ employees face various aspects of day-to-day operations and management, with the prime responsibility to ensure safe and smooth customer service deliveries. Meetings are often done ad-hoc to address critical situations, and thus require a room booking solution that minimizes hassles and conflicts; yet allows meeting spaces to be used efficiently. It also requires an easy to use system that can show room availability at a glance.

Solution

Arrive installed twelve (12) InfoPoint solutions at Dubai AirPorts’ new expanded Terminal One employee operations wing. The InfoPoints can be booked directly from Microsoft Outlook, allowing employees to book meeting rooms in advance, or directly from the interactive devices outside the meeting rooms for those who needs to book available rooms on the fly. The Arrive InfoPoint solution addressed Dubai Airports’ need for an efficient room booking system, minimizing schedule conflicts and hassles. On top of these, Arrive InfoPoint also served as an information system that can broadcast emergency notices, or other relevant information direct from the appliance.
